Casablanca To the north :
Day 1, Casablanca transfer from airport :
This is the first day of Enormous Morocco tour from Casablanca with Morocco Desert World, This tour will start by greeting you upon the arrival by our driver in the airport then picking you toward your accommodation where you will overnight. Go out for walking is possible once you have more time in the day.
Day 2, Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen :
During this day, you will spend some time in the bosoms of the economical capital of the Kingdom, Casablanca (white house) the largest and the biggest city all over Morocco. Among sites that you will be able to see there are : Hassan II mosque, one of the huge success of Moroccan architecture that appears between sky, earth and sea. Mohamed V palace, Ain Dyab Cornish, old Medina. Later we will head together with you to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. Sites that will be visited in this incredible city are listed as follows : Hassan tower, the most popular masterpiece of the capital and symbol of Al Mohad Movement and empire which established in th 12th century. The esteemed Mohamed V Mausoleum with topic touches of the Moroccan art, and Souk El Had market. Later we will continue to Chefchaouen to overnight there.
Day 3, Chefchaouen / Blue City :
You will start your day trip in Chaouen by walking deeply in the narrow roads, painted in blue and white, of this gorgeous city which was founded in 1471 by Moulay Ali Ben Moussa as a Kasbah. Fortress and dungeon which you can still visit nowadays. The markets in this city are full of sincere. Amazing handicraft product with style rarely you find it around our country. Vast and beautiful sombrero or hats which are special to this area, decorated with different coloured tissue. During the trip, you will be able to walk around the town square and have lunch in one of its cafe or restaurant and taste goat’s cheese. Among the other places that we will visit there will be: The Grand Mosque of the Medina and Place Mohamed Park.
Day 4, Chefchaouen – Meknes – Volubilis - Fes :
After breakfast meal, our next destination will be Volubilis, This is the vastest and full of life Roman Site. Its mosaic floor attract all sites’ visitors and its wonderful views to Rif mountains. The place could be explored by your own or you can take a guide if you like. Later we drive to Fes, spend the night there in perfect Riad or hotel.
Day 5, Fes City Tour :
During this guided visit, you will walk along the narrow paths of the Medina and see old shops and discover its Koranic Schools or Madrasas as locals name them. Among them Al Attarine and Bou Inaina and so forth. Fes Elbali is UNESCO world heritage, the city considered the second big city in the kingdom after Casablanca. Watch Andalusian style palaces, its beautiful fountains and rich art. See how the traditional mosques and architectural buildings were built. Visit Al Karaouiyine university, the oldest university in all the world and its beautiful walls. Visit the pottery and ceramics workshop, and some other sites which would be mentioned below. The day will include a break of 1h in the afternoon for lunch in a typical restaurant in centre of Medina of Fez.
Day 6 : Fes – Ifran – Midelt – Errachidia – Merzouga :
On this day, and after breakfast we will continue toward desert to discover the area landscapes, on the way we will cross through Atlas Mountains, The first stop will be in Imouzar Kender, a little town known for its yearly festival of apple. The town is 40km from Fes, its population are Berber speaking only Amazigh dialect. Then you will stop in Dait Aoua, a famous and beautiful lake in the area on the way to Ifran. Watch the beauty of the surrounding cedar trees and oak. Ifrane, the world’s second cleanest city according to a survey of MBC Times, a small city which was established by France in 1930, will be among our sites to be visited. Will head then to explore the most beautiful places in this area, and enjoy its weather. Have a look for the lion stone before we set a moment for lunch. Lastly, will head to discover the vast forest of cedar and watch the Barbarian Monkey who have been living there and furnishing the space of that area. Visit Azrou town and its Berber Market.
Day 7, Merzouga :
In this day, you will wake up early so that you can witness sunrise from the peak of the golden dunes of Merzouga. Later, you will be back to have a delicious breakfast in your traditional camp. You will have your camel ride then to explore the beautiful view of the golden dunes. starting from visiting nomadic tents and know how the Berber lifestyle in Khamlia village is. You will have a stop at Dar Gnaoua (house of music), to enjoy Gnaoua spiritual music. Then heading to the quiet and big lake in the area Serij lake and see its beautiful birds. Visiting traditional souk of Rissan, a station of African caravans.
In the late afternoon we will be back to our Berber camp, free time to walk and realx. Lunch and traditional music (optionally) before sleep. Enjoy the sky stars and think of the next destination.
Day 8, Merzouga Tenghir – Boumalne Dades :
After breakfast at your accommodation, you will leave toward Tenghir and then to Boumalne Dades (through roads of thousand Kasbah ) to explore their beautiful gorges. Walk besides the river and have lunch at a typical restaurant in Dades, the area is rich with its beautiful landscapes that we will keep it as a surprise in this day.
